Inspired by the lyrics of “Abi Gezunt” (which translates to: if you have your health/you can be happy), I wanted to create a world in the middle of Central Park in which The Mamales could pay homage to Vaudeville, tramp characters, “Couple of Swells” from Easter Parade, and the tradition of Yiddish Theatre.
